Beyond the PIP scandal, the possibility of different interpretations of previous regulations and the rapid technological advancements have also contributed to the European Union imposing stricter and unified regulations for the compliance assessment of in vitro diagnostic medical devices. NoBoVersum plans to launch its conformity assessment course in accordance with the new regulation – IVDR – in 2025.
